Child Development & Pedagogy (Most Important)
This is common to both papers and tests your understanding of how children learn:
- Piaget's Theory: Sensorimotor, Pre-operational, Concrete Operational, Formal Operational stages
- Vygotsky's Theory: Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), Scaffolding
- Kohlberg's Moral Development: Pre-conventional, Conventional, Post-conventional
- NCF 2005: Child-centered education, constructivism, continuous comprehensive evaluation
- Inclusive Education: Learning disabilities (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD), gifted children
- Assessment: Formative vs Summative, CCE, diagnostic assessment

Mathematics (Paper I & II)

CTET is an eligibility test, not a recruitment exam. After qualifying:

- NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti): Apply for TGT/PGT posts
- DSSSB: Delhi government school teaching posts

UGC NET: For College Teaching
If you want to teach at the university level:
- Eligibility: Post-graduation with 55% marks
- Exam Date: June 10, 2026

- Qualifying: Also grants JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) for PhD scholars
